the proxy server is refusing connections tor browser mac

I've tried reinstalling it but I never got it to work again. I was able to use tor after I first installed it. The little icon pops up and then disappears and tor never opens. So, after this doesn't work, I ensure tor isn't running by using my friend killall and then I open up tor using my search thing (forget what it's called) and click tor. If that's the answer, please just tell me which step I'm missing and stop reading now.

I get the notification Starting tor (via systemctl): tor.service.īut then I don't see anything happen.
